Sangam Prayagraj

The Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj is among the most sacred places in Hinduism, where three holy riversGanga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati – meet. It is believed that a dip at this confluence washes away all sins and grants moksha.

A visit to Prayagraj is incomplete without a holy dip (Snan) at the Sangam, where the waters flow not just with currents, but with centuries of faith, rituals, and stories from the Vedas.

Spiritual Significance:

  • Mentioned in Rig Veda and Puranas as the holiest of all river confluences.

  • Site of the legendary Kumbh Mela, which draws millions of devotees every 12 years.

  • Taking a bath at Sangam during Amavasya, Makar Sankranti, and Kumbh Snan is considered highly auspicious.
