Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the Twelve Jyotirlingas and a key destination in India’s spiritual circuit. Located on the western bank of the sacred Ganga River in Varanasi, it is believed that just a darshan of Vishwanath Jyotirlinga liberates one from the cycle of birth and death.
It is said:
“Kashi ke Kankar mein bhi Shankar hain.”
(Even the stones of Kashi are filled with Lord Shiva’s energy.)
